THE LONG WAY ROUND 1966

From a box of old Triumph parts i got years ago. Guessing you made up your own route between selected controls, or it could be a map of known swingers.

Mr NICE BLOKE

Read the book, seen the film and last week saw the bloke. I once brought a dollop of Lebanese back from Amsterdam in a sock, he brought in 15 tons from Pakistan. I am an old bloke so i like old blokes.

MORE NITRO AMERICA

This months Bakersfield Nostalgia meet from Les Mayhew. If you cant spare half an hour watch the first 5 minutes, full screen and turned right up..this shit should be on prime time TV. Convince the BBC that Bakersfield is something to do with baking, they wont go back to jam sponge once they've seen this.

REARVIEW MIRROR

Almost finished the "Rearview Mirror" series from 1990s BSH but to keep the ball rolling Phil has found me a few copies of New Motorcycling Monthly from the mid '70s in which his "Super series" was originally published. Going to kick off with the first of those shortly, hopefully the layout used should make them easier to read on here too.
Some great '70s shots from Phil to come as well, here's a taster..

EFFER

GET THOSE EXTRA INCHES.

Whenever i list a custom front end on eBay despite giving all the relevant measurements some pedantic git always asks "but how much over are they ?" so here are the official baseline measurements for standard forks, measurements are taken from the bottom of the steering stem to the centre of the wheel spindle. Info is from AEE Choppers mid '70s, so dont argue.
.

While i am at it these are dimensions for a Wassell P'nut but drawing possibly isnt to scale! I cant remember where i got this so you can argue if you must.

FRENCH TRIUMPH

HAPPY St PATRICK'S DAY

The day when everyone outside of Ireland decides they have a Great Great Grandad six times removed who was called Murphy so they must be Irish.
Ireland is Guinness, the best Rallies in the world, ladies with beautiful accents, drinking, houses with lawns but no gardens, MK2 Escorts, more advertising signs than you have ever seen, swearing...and beer.

GSXR 1986 1100 1371cc FOR SALE

I can keep it forever saying im going to do something with it but even if i had the finances i just dont have the time (or currently the inclination) to run this and the Triumph sprinter together with keeping on top of my other bikes. Motor is fresh JE pistons, APE block, Upperton head, Kent cams, Carillo rods, coil sprung lockup clutch, recent new 40 flatslides, Dyna ingintion, Pro NOS system etc, no point in giving you the full spec, if you are interested you will know what it is. I may split it up in time if i get no takers but for now its what you see....£4,000.
