ReplyDeletei remember (was it Pete Williams?)two faced, twin triumph sprinter ,John Hobbs ,real machines ,personal favourites of mine,and Alistair Lauries tridents...although they werent sprinters,i think he built those for land speed records.We have some great engineers in britain,esp Yorkshire,and scotland ,lots of talented people all over the UK ,who were responsible for many innovations the japanese copied
ReplyDeleteYes i remember Alistair Laurie, built some cool stuff, lightweight Tridents and Commandos. All those guys are in the book and hopefully at Dragstalgia in July as well !
