GOLD STAR WAL



The header photo of Wal Handley taking a dive at Governors took me to this splendid photo taken in 1934 when he was tempted out of retirement to ride this Gold Star. Just about the perfect motorcycle.

    Magnificent photo. Back in the day when a Woodbine was an essential part of racing equipment.

    Another lesser known fact is that 10 times TT winner Stanley Woods' real name was Stanley Woodbine, you can print that in BSH if you wish.
