Mine (convertible..) had double headlamps, purple paint and beautiful straight six motor. Bought in a haze of hashish from a drug dealer in South London in 1987 for £250. Sold two years later for £300. Lovely car. Apart from when the rear suspension collapsed and it turned from a car to a boat.
No, you're thinking of when the handbrake failed while waiting at the lights at the top of Heath Street, Hampstead, roof down, in full view of all the posh birds. Alan 'rock star' Whyte was with me at the time. Suspension collapsed in Wood Street Barnet, not far from Yadavs. Was transported to Trevor in Watford for major welding work. He used to banger race Heralds with George Esp so knew his stuff.

Saw that on Rods 'n' Sods Pete. A bit, er, unusual...

And tassles!
You might be bidding against Adam for that!
I will make sure he wins.

I remember that Adam... didn't the suspension break on the roundabout in Highgate village?
