See my post 4th March "6 Music". Thanks to many other protests, representations and just common sense (and good taste) the BBC Music Trust has saved 6 music. Chairman Sir Michael lyons said "There is no doubt there was a strong public response". He also said that Radios 1 and 2 lacked high quality and distinctive shows, no shit. As Simon Amstell said "Chris Moyles, Fearne Cotton, just not good enough is it ?". This mornings 6 breakfast show had Jamie T, The Cure, Nick Cave and the Smashing Pumpkins all in the first half hour while Moyles apparently mused about growing his hair long and Dave had his tedious link, twat.

Yes. I love a bit of Radio 6. Some of the DJs are still shit though. There's some woman called Jo and they gave house room to that terrible cock George Lamb. I've forgiven them though. G
