PURPLE HAZE

Ian Holden's Purple Haze from around 1977. Ok it wasnt purple but there must've been quite a haze going on when he thought this up. He made everything, obviously, where would you buy anything like this ?.
The motor was a 650 Bonneville with a Rickman 8 valve conversion, it usually annoys me when people look at chops and customs and say thats a waste of a good engine but ....

aye, Glen Jolliffe helped me build me first chop, he was a good bloke who was before his time(in england anyway)nobody had seen chopped harleys in Darlington, his brother ('speedy' jolliffe)had a nice 45 bobber built by Glen. The man hisself died years ago from a smack O.D., fuck only knows what he might of built if he'd have lived on. A right good lad though.
Whats next up one of Joe Trecos early creations? Willi
