Made some better looking front engine plates using a pair of old Triton ones as a base, came to fit barrels and for the first time ever i broke a piston ring. Thats it 'till a new set comes from Morgo.

Mikuni carb kit arrived from States yesterday afternoon, duty free ! Fitted and piped up last night, press choke, kick once, brrrm brrrm, happy. Ran it for about 5 minutes, oil still coming out of breather, unhappy.
Took off timing case and oil pump, pressurised the scavenge pipe and it seems fine but although i stripped the pump and re-seated the balls it doesnt seem too clever. New one coming Saturday.....
