Got the chop motor back together, new valves/guides/seats the works. Started easily and sounds good but...it has a tap. Done the tappets again, still has a tap.
Might be nothing much but knowing my luck it'll be t'valve hitting t'piston or summat equally crap.
No doubt it'll be in pieces on t'floor again by t'weekend, bugger.

Thanks for the reminder of how bloody good the Fast Show was.
Sorry about the ongoing woes... I feel your pain. Green bikes = unlucky.
Green bikes = twat twat twat. Problem found but engine in bits (again). It will be on the road ready for the snow.
Strangely enough the most troublesome bike I ever had, a Suzuki TS 250, was also green. I don't know how you have the patience (let alone the time). I know this isn't really the point but that's why I like the motors on Guzzis, they just don't really go wrong much.
If this was my only bike i would shoot myself (or it), it is a battle between me and it and i will win.
Tuono Thursday tomorrow !
This week I will mostly fettling my tappets.....
