EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY

Went out for a ride today with Guy to show him some more of the delights of North Yorkshires' tea rooms and for about 30 miles the Shovel went better and faster than ever before, however coming out of Helmsley the rear wheel locked solid leaving a lengthy stripe in the road as i weaved to a halt much to the surprise of the lady letting someone out of her car at the roadside. A couple of useful local lads helped us lift the bike to the side of the road where i took the chain off so we could move it. Ellis came to collect me and we went back in the van and collected the bike.
I was going to throw it in a corner but instead i pulled the top off the box to find no bearing on right side selector, there is no way it can come up and fall off, it must have broken up and is now jammed somewhere between a few gears.
Bugger.

This photo shows a black line on the road, i know its not very impressive but there was nothing else to take a photo of !

Over the last couple of weeks i have been sorting the lifter problems out and also rebuilt the carb so it now goes like i imagine a proper 93 inch stroker should, in fact its almost dangerous even with a good gearbox.
Could have been worse like !
