Taken from Classic Bike magazine Nov '87. A bike that always sticks in my mind, hopefully its still in the same condition today although ive never seen a photo of it since. click on the photo and you should be able to read the story.

BLACK HOUSE WILL ROCK BLIND BOYS DONT LIE
The land my shed is on was formerly home to many frogs, these boys got lost and came back only to perish in an environment of Castrol R and rusty shit but i kept them on the shelf in case they were immortal.

SCHOOLGIRLS
One hot summers day in '97 daughter Rebecca and three friends came home for lunch while i was taking photos of my bike, lured with a pack of 10 Marlbro lights they posed for a few photos. Left to right, Rachel went on to University and has been travelling for a while in the US, Laura has a son and lives in Glasgow, Becca is a snowboarding queen/accountant and lives in Leeds and Lily (front) has travelled the world and is now a make up artist. The pic of Laura is one of my favourite photos.

TWO TRIBES
Way back in the days of glam rock and transistor radios two friends from Manchester built two Bonneville choppers to terrorise the streets of Salford. Neither has been used on the road since the early 80s, they were stored covered in old oil and only came to light a couple of years ago when the blokes retired and sold them. Both have survived their time warp well. Until two weeks ago i had only seen the bike in the top 3 photos, the bottom one has just been sold on ebay for £3,100....bargain i recon........

SPECIAL TOOLS
These are the special tools i have for Triumphs.
These are my Harley special tools given to me by the guy i bought my Shovel off.
Says it all !
The dog is not a special tool she is just to wipe your hands on when you've finished work.

CHOP CHOP
Just showing off really, took a few photos of my new Triumph chop today before i box it all up and put it away till i have time to do it justice. Also stops me just sitting staring at it with a stupid grin on me 'ead. Hopefully get it out and make a start round about April. Its going to be immense!. Thinking the springers are JCS, would seem to be logical as the bike came from Florida, anyone confirm?

BILLYS JAWA
Billy put this Jawa up outside his restaurant in Kaya, Turkey. He reckoned it was his grandfathers bike and the first Jawa ever imported into Turkey. We did call him Billy bullshit though !
If you pass by (Kaya is a little village near Fethiye), call in he's a friendly bloke, the foods good and the beers cold.
Plenty of these old Jawas still pop popping around in Turkey ridden by old guys wearing the mandatory biking gear of cap, stubble and a fag.

ANGLIA
Carl rents a unit in the same yard as me and has this Anglia for sale (£1500 if you are interested).
Started me thinking about one i built for rallying in the early 90s. It was an original 1967 Police Panda car from Middlesborough and was pretty solid although it had fallen off the trailer whilst being delivered to Malton. It ended up after about 2 years work as an Escort in an Anglia shell, 5 linked rear end with coilover turreted shockers at the rear and all Escort competition suspension and steering at the front. I used an all steel 1700 X/flow out of a National Hotrod and it went well, surprised quite a few people.
It was different enough without being pink though...
I stripped it and sold the shell in '93 to help finance restoring the house we now live in. I bought it back, exactly as i'd sold it, 10 years later then sold it again for 3 times as much ! It now lives on the north coast of Scotland i believe.

STAR CARBS
I got these last week but i can find nothing on the internet about them. They have a chrome plated steel body. Nearest i can get is they look similar to Posa carbs (fitted to Cesna aircraft). Possibly with a different front plate bearing the Star logo ? anyone seen any before ?
Since puting this post ive found they are Lake/Posa carbs which were later manufatured as Star. Thanks to the JJ.

RIDDEN NOT HIDDEN
Driving past the car park at the bottom of our street yesterday and noticed a few serious looking outfits so i thought i'd go and investigate. They are on a round Britain tour of some sort, proper all weather types.
Took a couple of photos and one of the guys came over and pointed me towards a bike in the corner...........
