9/11/01

We visited New York six months after 9/11 and only by being there can you appreciate the horror of it all. Ground Zero was surrounded by filth and silence with people quietly looking on.
Somewhere in Manhattan while walking round we came across fences round building works covered in small tiles that had been made by kids from schools all over America, it was a colourful sight in contrast and something i will not forget.
I hope NYC is safe today.
