FULL UP

Pictures on your Google blog are hosted by Picasa Web (which is owned by Google), you get 1 big bite full free then you got to pay. I have seen one or two blogs have this issue and i suppose i knew it would happen sooner of later, well today it happened. My photo files are full (about 3,400 images), changing my header pic regularly doesn't help either, so there are a few options.
1) Pay so we can carry on.
2) Delete a load of photos from the Picasa files but if i do they no longer show up on the blog. I have done this for now by deleting all old header photos that are no longer used, this should keep things going for a week or so while i decide the way forward.
3) Host photos another way, you can even do it via Facebook apparently but if your Facebook is anything like as slow as mine 3,000 photos will kill it dead. I need to look into this further, there are probably ways of getting round it if you are aligned to the technical age, i am not that person.
So it looks like if i want to carry on it's no longer a freeby, things will have to change.
In the meantime your support by buying a T shirt would be gratefully received, hit the T shirt pic to the right to take you to the ebay sale.... assuming i haven't deleted it.

BURLESQUE STAR IN OILY FROCK SHOCK

You will probably know by now that last years successful Hotrod Hayride Drag Race meet at Dunsfold will not be repeated this year, apparently due to the slim possibility that some Olympic Games dignitary/toss bag may wish to land there. There is an A Bombers style dirt hillclimb planned to replace it which will be equally as good but the sprinter isn't best suited for off road so has been retired to the shed from where nothing ever re-emerges. It does mean that i wont be wiping my oily hands on Anna's nice frock again though.

Although i always mean to go and see the girl do her stuff on the Saturday night i seem to end up sat outside on the grass drinking and talking unmemorable shite instead so this video is as much for me as for you. She is there again this year, what are the chances ?...

METAL TOMMY

Remember Artist Blacksmith Tom ? Here's his latest project.....
"Marlon is a parts supply manager for all earth based robot’s, unfortunately he is terrible at his job and has yet to meet a delivery deadline.
He likes furry animals, scalextric and Castrol R and is the only robot to have watched the wild one 200 times consecutively.
If you need parts….. go elsewhere! If you are having a party though, he is the first to call as he is well renowned for his squirrel juggling act"
If you fancied Marlon its too late, someone got there first, but theres plenty more at Atomicroboto

OLD BLACK NEW BLU' TSHIRT

Wes contacted me a while ago about selling some of my T shirts in Australia, i had a look at his blog Drag Strip Racer and found a smart picture of "new" Old Blu' based on one of Guy's photos from the  GKM. feature. He now has some T shirts with the same logo and sent a couple over for Guy and me. They are a limited run so if you want one best hit his blog PDQ.
"Wont mention Old Blu again", did i say that ?

JEFFORDISM

A local bloke who worked on a farm came in to my workshop one day and said he was going to build a Triumph chopper, i gave him a 10" wide Magnesium wheel off a Metro 6R4 as a joke. 9 months later he won best in show at the R&B. I have never underestimated him, i stand there saying "where did you get that from ?"  the answer is always "i made it", see that gearbox casing ?.... This is Vic Jefford's Carousel, hopefully ready to blind you at Beaulieu Custom Show in June. I dont want to say you 'aint seen nothing yet, but you 'aint seen nothing yet. This will be the best show bike ever built in the UK. Not kidding.
